Tell my stream to call a URL on Failure or Recovery?

Advanced accounts and up

Login to the Control Panel.

  1. Click the Streams link in the Control Panel menu on the left of the page
  2. Click the edit icon next to the stream you want to run traceroutes
  3. Click the Edit Advanced Availability Settings link
  4. In the pop-up box, check the box next to Enable URL Call on Failure and/or Enable URL Call on Recovery
  5. Enter a URL in the boxes below each Enable checkbox.
  6. Click the Submit button to save your changes.

Failure URLs will only be called when the maximum Alert Nodes value is called if you have more than one nodes assigned to the stream. Recovery URLs will be called as soon as a node recovers.
