When your stream fails a test, you will continue to receive alerts at every check until the stream passes it’s test. If know that your stream is down and you want to stop receiving alerts until you fix the stream, follow these steps.

1. Login to the Control Panel here
2. Click on the Streams link from the menu on the left
3. Find the stream for which you are receiving alerts and click the Edit link in it’s title bar
4. Uncheck the Master Enabled box or the Availability Enabled box if you want to disable availability monitoring only
5. Click the Submit button to save your change

Be sure to enable your stream after it is repaired by following the same steps but check the Enabled box before clicking on Submit.

Advanced accounts can setup an Alert Filter that will automatically block any alerts from being sent that match a given error code and message.
