Receive alerts on my cell phone?
At this time the Stream Alerts system can only send emails. Thankfully most cell phone providers accept emails to a special address that they can then forward to your phone as a text message.
The best place to start is by logging onto your cell phone providers website. Logon to your account and search for different terms like "email to phone" or "email to SMS" and you’ll likely find out the email address you’ll need to use.
If you can’t find the proper address on your provider’s website, try using the list of gateways from the link below and put your entire phone number (including area and sometimes country codes) before the address for your provider.

Often the proper email address will be formatted similar to full_phone_number@carrier.com. For example, 8601234567@messaging.sprintpcs.com would send a message to a Sprint customer. If your phone number doesn’t work, try putting your country code in front. Failing that, if you have registered with your carrier’s web site, try using your login username before the gateway. For example, myusername@messaging.sprintpcs.com may work.
Note: For paid customers, be sure to check the SMS box under your cell phone’s contact entry so that you will receive abbreviated alert formatted for text messaging.
