Configure Stream Alerts to use my own SMTP host for alerts?

Login to the Control Panel

To configure a SMTP host for all of your contacts, follow these steps. If you want to enable a host for only a specific contact, skip this section.

  1. Click the My Account link in the Control Panel menu on the left of the page.
  2. Click the Advanced Account Settings link to open a pop-up box
  3. Enter the SMTP Host, user and password in the fields provided. The password will be stored encrypted in our database.
  4. Click the Submit button to save your changes

To configure SMTP hosts for specific contacts:

  1. Select Contacts from the Control Panel menu on the left.
  2. Click the edit icon next to the contact you wish to modify.
  3. Enter the from address, host, user and password in the fields provided.
  4. Click the Submit button to save your changes
