Service Updates
We recently rolled out an update to the back-end services and the control panel that fixed some bugs, added new features and improved performance overall. Updates include Stream Groups, Payload Monitoring and adjustable alerting intervals. Click the link for a list of changes.
- Advanced users can now setup Stream Groups that you can use to assign specific contacts to specific streams for alerting and organization. The groups also allow you to enable or disable monitoring or alerting for a cluster of streams instead of clicking on each individual entry.
- Audio and Video Payload Monitoring is now available for Windows Media and Shoutcast streams. Contact our sales department for quotes on adding this service.
- You can now set the alerting interval for each contact. For example, if you have an Advanced account that monitors your streams every 5 minutes, you can configure a cell phone contact to receive an alert once every 30 minutes to avoid using texting credits.
- Alerts now have the subject line “– Stream Alert –” for quick identification.
- Clicking on the Control Panel home page status grid now takes you to a details page for that stream.
- The history display page for Basic and Advanced users has been fixed.
